Dear Justin,
I am still alive.
No Chat GTP tonight. Not much of anything. I’m down to the wire, I’m at the end of my rope, I’m living on the edge, I’m tying up loose ends, I’m about to hit the hay, I’ve got a ticket to ride, I’m leaving
town tomorrow.
No wifi or cell service where I’m going so I’ll write to you in awhile, crocodile.

Dear Justin,
I am still alive.
I survived the trip out west, it was an amazing experience sleeping in a tent and working hard every day building a massive wood shed. Dug holes, planted posts, hung beams and stringers and rafters, learned a bunch, helped a bunch, and I want to go back in the fall if I can. The CGL security spy on the healing centre constantly, the RCMP are there a lot too, just being menaces. Now I’m back at Vox for the deinstall, I have the kids for a couple weeks, Jess is finishing her CEGEP class this week, the forests are on fire, hundreds of migrants were killed at sea but the media was obsessed briefly with a handful of billionaires who imploded inside a tin can trying to view Titanic up close on a video screen. Can we send more billionaires down there please?

Dear Justin,
Just trying to get through the day, get invoices out and hopefully have enough to pay rent and bills for the first of the month without having to dip into savings, again. But then again, I’m working almost all summer long until mid-september so I’ll get by. Anyway really just calling it in tonight, kinda tired.

Dear Justin,
Another day, packing up art. Cycled to work in the rain. So did the kids. Rose bikes Sol to his chess camp. He’s really into it, very competitive, he wants to win trophies but sometimes gets frustrated with himself if he can’t figure out the strategies. Just like the cube. Just like gaming or puzzles. Meanwhile I just hang around, killing time and trying to figure out how to go back to camp. Jess is home, not in Ramsay, her class is over and she has DnD tonight. She got a grant from the CALQ for her manuscript and as well it is going to be published! My love has had a lot of good news this year. And we are only halfway through 2023. Which is bonkers on so many levels. Time to take a renewed look at properties.
